What should I wear?Quaker weddings range in style, but they’re typically simple, heartfelt, and focused on the spirit of the occasion rather than formality. You’ll likely see a mix of attire — from nice jeans to suits and dresses — but rarely anything as formal as tuxedos or evening gowns. Since this wedding will be in a camp setting, the tone is more informal. We’re hoping to be outdoors, so please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and footwear suited for grass and uneven ground. Think comfortable, joyous, and respectful — something you'd feel good wearing during a quiet moment of shared reflection and celebration.

No pets are allowed in the kitchen, Meeting Centre, or the dining room at any time. Pets should never be allowed to roam freely at Camp. Please consult with us beforehand if you plan to bring a pet.

What will the weather be like?Waubaushene typically experiences warm and pleasant weather in mid-July. Average daytime highs reach around 26°C (79°F), while evening temperatures can dip to approximately 13°C (56°F). There's a moderate chance of rain, but we're hoping for sunny skies. For guests attending, it's advisable to dress in light, breathable fabrics suitable for warm daytime temperatures. However, considering the cooler evenings, bringing a light jacket or shawl would ensure comfort as the night progresses. Additionally, being prepared for potential light rain by having an umbrella or raincoat is recommended.
-
Where should I park? There is free parking near the entrance of the Camp. We'll have someone there to help with directions on the day.
-
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
